Janet Majure Kinard, 78, of Hickory, MS passed away Wednesday, July
26, 2023 at her home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at
Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Hickory, MS with
visitation beginning one hour prior to service time.  Burial will
follow in the church cemetery.  Bro. Thomas Laird will officiate the
service.  Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements,

Janet was a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church.  She
enjoyed flowers, butterflies, hummingbirds, spending time with family,
especially her grandchildren.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, K.D. and Eunice Major;
brothers Tommy Majure and Edwin Majure;  and her other siblings.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bobby; children; David
Safir, Marcelle Prisock (Daryl), Brent Kinard (Cindy), Brian Kinard
(Melissa); 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law,
Peggy Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Jude.
