Jamie Lee Hollingsworth, Sr., 38, of Newton, MS died Thursday, September 14, 2017. He was born Sunday, January 28, 1979 in Newton, MS.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Antioch Christian Church in Hickory, MS. Burial will follow in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery in Hickory, MS. You could have never known a better man, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, coach, and friend than Jamie Hollingsworth. He had a huge impact on anyone that was lucky enough to have known him. And no matter the circumstances, he would always assure us in his laid back ways that "LIFE IS GOOD"!

He is preceded in death by his Grandfather - Ed Hollingsworth, Grandfather - Clarence E. "Dick" Wall, and Father-in-law, George K. Darsey.

Survivors include his Wife - Lori Hollingsworth; Son - Jamie Lee Hollingsworth, Jr.; Daughters - Belle Hollingsworth and Lilly Ann Hollingsworth; Parents- David and Gail Hollingsworth; Brothers - David Hollingsworth, Jr. (Lindsey), and Kris Hollingsworth (Brooke); Sister - Jenny Jackson (Matthew); Grandmother - Doris Hollingsworth; Grandmother - Betty Wall; Mother-in-law Barbrea Goss; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kris Hollingsworth, David Hollingsworth, Jr., Kyle Darsey, Jeremy Williams, Ben Kelly, Matt Williams, Josh Williams, and Matthew Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stephen Liggett, Ryan Myers, Brian White , Samuel Crenshaw, Newell Palmer, Jamie Garrison, and Jason Williams.
