Ida Mae Scoggin's Obituary
Ida Mae Scoggin, 88 of Newton, MS, died Friday, November 14, 2014 at Woodland Court Retirement Center in Newton, MS.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00,on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Sand Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Hickory, MS with Rev. Rodney Anderson officiating.
Mrs. Scoggin was a life long resident of Newton County and also a member of Hickory Baptist Church.
She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening and working puzzles.
Preceded in death by: husband Arthur Phillip Scoggin, son William Phillip Scoggin, sisters: Inez Craig,Lutea Wilson,and Evelyn Bounds; and a brother Morris Hurst.
Survivors Include: daughter Jean Martin (Greg) of Dothan, Al; son Art Scoggin (Janie) of Waynesboro, MS; grandchildren, William Scoggin, Amanda Scoggin, Phillip Martin, Mary Katherine Martin, Daniel Martin, and Paul Martin.
