Graveside services for Hulon Dewitt McKee will be 11 A.M. Friday, April 25, 2014 at Lebanon Cemetery with Bro. Ben Laird officiating.


Mr. McKee, 85, of Union, formerly of Decatur, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Laird Hospital in Union.

He was very gifted musically. He played the guitar, organ, and harmonica. He enjoyed singing. A favorite hobby was repairing tractors and trucks. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Hickory Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Nina May Ryder McKee of Union; one son: John Paul McKee and wife Kathy of Lafayette , LA; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother-in-law: Thomas Scarborough of Decatur

He was preceded in death by his parents: William Odell and Louise Pearson McKee; one sister: Audrey Scarborough and one brother: Jack McKee

There will be no visitation.
