Obituary

Henry Littleton Grady, age 87, passed away at his home on August 18, 2018 with his loving wife and daughter Cindy by his side.

Mr. Henry lived in Chunky after moving from the Gulf Coast. He served in the Navy for 4 years and was also in the Korean War on battleship USS Loftburg and retired from Air Force after 16 years. Mr. Henry was a Mason at Evergreen Lodge and 32 degree Shriner of the Meridian Lodge. Mr. Henry was a lifelong member of The American Legion Post 173.

He is survived by his wife Faye Grady of 62 years, three daughters, Gwen Schollian (Woody); Cindy Broome Grady, Carol Saxton (David); three grandchildren, Jamey Nowlin (Newman), Shaun Broome, Mallory Chandler (Jared),and three great- grandchildren, Lundyn, Brooks, Anderson. sister, Billie Usry and  brother, A.W. Grady and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Henry Grady and Sally Grady and 9 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Littleton Grady will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 10:00AM at Newton County South Funeral Home. Bro. Robert Rowzee will be officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shaun Broome, Woody Schollian, David Saxton and Jerry Cobb.
