Helen Scott Munn , age 82, passed away on March 30, 2018.

Helen was born April 17, 1935 in Manila, AR to Gassie Scott and Ethel Scott. Helen married Robert "Bob" Munn on February 28, 1952.

She is survived by daughter, Jo Blackburn (Larry); son, Don Munn (Joy); granddaughters, Tracy Holliman (Neal), Kim Lampton (Paul), Megan Jones (Jeff) and Cassie Munn ; great-grandchildren, Levi and Hayes Holliman , Ashton, Natalie, and Reese Lampton , and Jenny and Cleve Jones; siblings, Millie Overtuff , Roberta Bass (Steve), Kenneth Scott (Karen), Norman Scott (Barbara) and James Scott (Bessie); special friends, Ann and Lavell Harrell and Christy Pierce; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Scott Smith, David Sheely , Todd Pillsbury, Lane Carey, Kent Carey and Eddie Stamper.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Harris, Andy Milling, Jimmy Coghlan , Matt Walters, Wayne Carey and Robert Pierce.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Robert "Bob" Munn ; parents, Gassie and Mildred Scott; mother, Ethel Scott; sisters, Mattie Terrell and Frankie Scott.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 1 , 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-South. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home-South with Bro Ryan Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.
