Harold Lee Youngblood, Sr., 81, of Hickory, MS died Friday, August 19, 2016 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 22, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Hickory United Methodist Church in Hickory, MS. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Hickory City Cemetery in Hickory, MS. Rev. Frank Kirtley, Rev. Gary Howse and Dr. Randy Rich will officiate. Mr. Youngblood was born Thursday, June 27, 1935 in Sylvarena, MS.
He was a Mason and a member of Hickory United Methodist Church. He was a retired mechanic and business owner who began his career working at various automobile dealerships and then he became a store manager for Big 10 Tire Company in Mobile, AL. He subsequently owned and operated Hickory Equipment Company in Hickory for almost 18 years. He most recently was an employee of the former White Timber Company of Hickory.

He is preceded in death by his parents James Noel and Bessie Cooley Youngblood; Brothers Billie Stone Youngblood and Thomas "Tommy" Youngblood.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, June Youngblood; Son - Harold Lee Youngblood, Jr., Daughter-in-law - Carol Youngblood, Granddaughters, Ava Annslee and Abigail Annalee Youngblood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Noel Youngblood, Jimmy Youngblood, Tom Youngblood, Scott Youngblood, Charles Schellbach, Bobby Pugh, and Sam Burkes.
