Gina Wall Mayes, 53 of Newton, MS passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. She was born on Monday, April 7, 1969.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South (100 Old Highway 15 Loop, Newton, MS) with funeral services immediately following in the chapel. Burial will take place at Garlandville United Methodist Church Cemetery in Garlandville, Mississippi. Bro. Justin Chaney will officiate. Mrs. Wall graduated high school from Heidleburg Academy and then went to gain her nursing degree from Meridian Community College. As a Registered Nurse she worked at Anderson Regional Medical Center and Sta-Home Health. She enjoyed her work and going the extra mile for her patients. She loved her family, cooking, music, supporting Ole Miss Atheletics, and the farm-life. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Johnny George Wall and Martha Jane Williams Wall; and her brother, Johnny Wade Wall.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Curtis Mayes; sons, Kurt Mayes and Kyle Mayes; and mother-in-law, Margaret Mayes.

Pallbearers will be James Williams, Wesley Williams, Wesley Mayes, Brent Mayes, and Douglas Mayes.
