Funeral services for Gerald Allen Munn will be 11 A.M. , on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Newton County Funeral Home North Chapel. Bro. John Sweeney and Bro. Scott Vaughn will officiate.  Burial will be in Midway Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. - 10:45 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Munn, 75 of Meridian, formerly of Decatur, died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at J T Champion Nursing Facility in Meridian. He loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ned and Bertie Lee Everett Munn; one sister: Dot Harris and one brother: Edwin Munn

Survivors include one brother: Robert "Bob" Munn and his wife Helen of Decatur; nephews: Don Munn and his wife Joy and Ronnie Harris and his wife Paula; nieces: Jo Blackburn and her husband Larry; Debbie Stamper and her husband Eddie; Sonya Smith and her husband Scott; Gwen Walker and Donna Slayden and her husband Steve; number of great nieces and great nephews

Pallbearers: Don Munn, Ronnie Harris, Larry Blackburn, Eddie Stamper, Scott Smith, and Wayne Carey.

The family wishes to thank the staff at James T. Champion Nursing Home for the seven years of love and care you gave to Gerald. You each were a blessing in his life.
