Geneva (Boutwell) Munn, 97, of Decatur, MS passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at J G Alexander Nursing Center.  She was born January 27, 1923. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church and former member of Bouie St. Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, MS and First Baptist of Petal, MS.

Mrs. Munn was preceded in death by her husband, Willie (Bill) Munn; her parents, Preston and Otis Boutwell; son Donald Garner; siblings; Monnis Williams, Willie (Tinker) Boutwell, Donald Boutwell, Louie Boutwell, J P Boutwell, and Paul Boutwell; stepson, Billy Munn and stepdaughters, Karen Wells and Lynda Hattaway.

Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Pendergest (Jim) of Decatur, Joyce Broom of Griffin, GA., Ramona Grunewald of New Albany, Ohio and step children: John (Kathy) Munn, David (Judy) Munn, Tim (Alisa) Munn, MarK (Terri) Munn, and Theresa (Todd) Stamper; grandchildren: B. J. Childress, Donna (Darren) Butler, Terrell (Christy) Pickett, Jr., Kelly (Jeff) Eads, Wendy (Ed) Brower, Melissa (Steve) Dyer, Steven Myers, Amy (Ken) Weeden, and Laura (Jim) Holt; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kent Carey, Wayne Carey, David Carey, Donnie Kelly, Larry Blackburn, and John Munn.

Due to the Covid 19 precautions, there will be a privately held, small, family graveside service Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Decatur.
