Frederick Ignatius Bunty

Newton, MS - Services for Frederick Ignatius Bunty will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 10:30 AM from St. Anne's Catholic Church in Newton, MS. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery in Newton, MS with Newton County Funeral Home - North in charge of arrangements. Father Norbert will officiate.

Mr. Bunty, 87, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at Anderson's Hospital. He was born in Ridley Park, PA.

He was a graduate of Penn State University, served in the U.S. Navy. He loved gardening, growing Christmas trees and was a wine making hobbyists.

He is preceded in death by:
Son - Gerard Bunty, Parents - Roosevelt Bunty and Kathleen Bunty, Brothers - Richard, Phillip and David Bunty, Sister - Corrine Ackerman.

He is survived by his:
Spouse - Teresa Bunty, Daughter - Vickie Bunty, Son - Wayne Bunty, Daughter - Lucinda O'Fallon (Danny), Son - Eric Bunty (Donna), Daughter - Noelle Richards (Bobby), Son - Chris Bunty (Kay), Sisters -Rebecca Swope and Pat Hale, Brother - Rodney Bunty, 11 Grandchildren, 5 Great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - North in Newton.
