Fannie Ruth Williams, 76 of Hickory, MS passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at her residence. She was born Monday, December 10, 1945 in Chunky, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home - South (100 Old Highway 15 Loop, Newton, MS) with funeral services immediately following in the chapel.  Burial will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church in Hickory, MS.   Rev. She was preceded in death by her son, Kerry Joseph Williams; father, Joseph Elijah Buckley; mother, Nora Rainer Buckley; brother, Joseph "Buster" L. Buckley; sister, Earnestine Sant.

Survivors include her son, Michael Williams (Paula); grandchildren: Bryant Williams (Kristen) and Brandon Williams (Charlsea); brother, William "Billy" Frank Buckley (Sarah); sister, Dale Huey (Clint); great-grandchildren: Benton Williams and Carolina Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Pallbearers will be Joe Knowles, Lee Buckley, Duane Gressett, Cody Williams, Hank Pugh, and Kyle Pugh.
