Elizabeth Monroe Boulton, 93, of Rose Hill, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019, at her home in Rose Hill, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, February 4, 1926.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Rose Hill. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Patty Robinson will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200

Elizabeth retired from La-Z-Boy after 26 years in the Personnel Department. She loved working with people and helping others. She loved her friends and family. She was smiling and telling us she loved us until the very end. She always had the best attitude and the sweetest disposition. She had the biggest heart and genuinely cared about people. The world will be a little less sweet without her in it.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Boulton; her parents, James and Blanche Monroe; one grandson, Matthew David Bufkin; siblings, June Monroe, Mildred Monroe Smith, and William Marion Monroe.

Survivors include her children, Jackie Boulton (Debra) and Jan Bufkin (Gary); her grandchildren, Grant Bufkin, Taryn Foley (Dustin), Brittany McLeod (Joe), and Kent Bufkin; two great-grandchildren, Levi McLeod and Kennedy Bufkin.

Pallbearers will be Randy Loper, Sammy Aycock, Craig Youngblood, Mike Alexander, Jason Hester, and Chris Sims.
