Edna Earl Comans, 83, of Decatur, MS, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, in Meridian, MS. She was born Friday, April 8, 1938 in Leake County, MS.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-North in Newton, MS. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-North with Bro. Mark Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in Newton County Memorial Gardens in Newton, MS. Newton County Funeral Home - North is in charge of arrangements (601-635-3200).

Mrs. Edna was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Edward Stewart and Kenneth Wayne Comans, her son, Jones Laney Wilson, her parents, Percy and Bonnie Smith Lucroy, and her brothers, Jimmy Davis Lucroy and Frank Lucroy.

Survivors include her children, Jerry Wilson (Patsy) of Meridian, MS, JoAnne Longino (Paul) of Lumberton, MS, Bobby Stewart of Memphis, TN, Beverly Williamson of Decatur, MS, and Michael Comans (Cindy) of Lake, MS, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, four great-great Grandchildren, and her brothers, Doyce Lucroy (Betty) of Pontotoc, MS, Billy Joe Lucroy of Decatur, MS and Roy Lucroy (Deborah) of Philadelphia, MS.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Longino, Carlton Longino, Kolton Welborn, Travis McKee, Jimmy Wilson, Gerald Wilson, and Johnny Glen Wilson.
