Edmund Lynn Kossey, 70 of Newton, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Pioneer Community Hospital.

He was born in California and he and Mrs. Glenda met in West Texas. They lived in California forty one years where they raised their family, live and worked. When they retired, they moved to Newton to enjoy being with family again. He loved to play the game of golf, as long as his was able he played. He enjoyed to tinker with cars.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years: Glenda Baucum of Newton: two sons: Allen Lee Kossey;
Michael Wade Kossey, and his wife, Chasity Lynn of Newton; three grandchildren:
Makayla, Martez, and Miranda.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Marvin L. Kossey and Lucille Mason Kossey, and one
brother: Auda Lee Kossey.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Newton County Funeral Home of Newton is in charge of arrangements.
