Obituary

Edith Flowers Fulton, 88, of Decatur, MS went to be with her Heavenly Father and her loved ones gone on before her on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. She was born February 1, 1928 in Lauderdale County, MS.

She was a member of Clarke-Venable Baptist Church where she enjoyed worshipping and participating in various women's groups. She loved spending time with her family and reminiscing about times past.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home - North in Newton, MS. Burial will follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Philadelphia, MS. Bro. Mark Vincent will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home - North is in charge of arrangements. (601)635-3200

She is preceded in death by her husband, CS 'Jack' Fulton; parents, Houston Flowers and Ethel Reynolds Flowers; daughter, Robin Williams; sister, Faye Flowers Harper; nephews, Louis Ray and Billy David Edney.

Survivors include her sons, Scott S. Fulton (Lora) of Decatur, MS, Jack V. Fulton (Becky) of Collinsville, MS; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Willie Fred Fulton of Meridian; several aunts, cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home - North in Newton,

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to American Cancer Society, Blair E Batson Children's Hospital or charity of choice.
