Edeltraut "Jean" Imgard Turner, 83, of Newton, Mississippi, died Friday, August 28, 2020, at her home. She was born Tuesday, July 6, 1937.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-North. Funeral Services will follow at 6:00 PM in the chapel. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie G. Turner; her sister, Christel Rebenotorf, and by her parents.

Survivors include her children Michael Turner (Lisha), Diane Foy, and Robert Turner (Micheling); grandchildren, Lindsey Edwards (Zachary), Lauren Foy, Alexandria Turner, and Ben Turner; great-grandchild, Kason Edwards; step-grandchildren, Zachary Lee, Cody Lee, Avery Lee, and Brittany Wilkinson; brother, Gunther Schwerin (Gunda).
