Eddie Joe Farrow, 75, of Hickory, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Anderson's Regency Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, March 3, 1945 in Moscow, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Sand Springs Baptist Church in Hickory, MS with funeral services immediately following.  Burial will take place at the church cemetery.  Bro. Jackie Strebeck and Bro. Ben Harper will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200.

Mr. Joe was a proud veteran of the United States Army.  He was a dedicated member and deacon of Sand Springs Baptist Church for many years.  Joe was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outside with his grandchildren.  His favorite thing was being involved with his family no matter what activity they were involved with.  He dearly loved his family and will truly be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Calton Farrow and Tiny Mae Farrow.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Lynda Farrow; daughters, Rebecca Russell (Bill), and Melinda Rucker (Wade); grandchildren, Justin Morrow, Zeke Rucker, Harl'e Rucker, and Zoe' Russell.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Strebeck, Jackie Strebeck, Bill Russell, Wade Rucker, Justin Morrow, and Zeke Rucker.
