Douglas Ray Gray's Obituary
Memorial services for Douglas Ray Gray will be Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 2 P.M. at Pleasant Valley Methodist Church.
Mr. Gray, 39, of Decatur died Saturday, August 24, 2013.
He was a long time resident of Newton County and went to school at Decatur. He was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for hunting and fishing. Doug was a "people person", remembered for never meeting a stranger. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Methodist Church. He will be missed.
Doug is survived by his wife of six years: Linda Sue Pope Gray, and his mother Helen Delores Stamper Speed, both of Decatur.
He also leaves behind his Uncle Arnell and Aunt Donna, and his cousin, James, several other cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father: Glen Gray.
Family and friends are asked to come join in remembering Doug's life at Pleasant Valley Methodist Church, 692 Pleasant Valley Road, Decatur, MS 39327.
