Ms. Doris Hollingsworth, 87, of Newton, MS passed away on February 27, 2019.

She is survived by son David Hollingsworth (Gail); daughter Susan Shepherd; grandchildren:  Lauren Shepherd-Gipson (Aaron), David Hollingsworth (Lindsey), Kris Hollingsworth (Brooke), Jenny Jackson (Matthew), Lori Hollingsworth; great-grandchildren:  Jamie Lee Hollingsworth, Jr., Belle Hollingsworth, Lilly Hollingsworth , Maddox Jackson, Maddalee Jackson, Knox Jackson, Krew Jackson, Beckett Jackson, James Dylan Hollingsworth, Marie Hollingsworth, and Kalliegh Harper Hollingsworth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Hollingsworth; parents, Samuel and Ethel Bounds and grandson Jamie Lee Hollingsworth, Sr.

Pallbearers are David Hollingsworth, Jr., Jamie Lee Hollingsworth, Jr., Kris Hollingsworth, Aaron Gipson , Sam Bounds, and Steve Bounds.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Antioch Christian Church, Newton, MS.  Funeral services will immediately follow with Dr. John Cash officiating.

Burial will be at Newton Masonic Cemetery in Newton, MS.
