Donnie Lee Todd, 86, of Newton, Mississippi, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Anderson's Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi. She was born Monday, June 4, 1934.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (877 Hwy 503 Newton, MS) with funeral services immediately following.  Burial will take place at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Hemmingway will officiate. Mrs. Donnie Lee enjoyed serving in her community and church.  She will be remembered as a kind and precious lady that was like a mother to many.  One of the things she enjoyed the most was cooking for others.  She loved her family.  Mrs. Donnie Lee will certainly be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Todd; parents, Benjamin and Julia Ann Wall; daughter, Sherry Todd; son, Bruce Todd; daughter-in-law, Tammie Todd; granddaughter, Celeste Todd and grandson, Jared Todd.

Survivors include children, Ronnie Todd, Glenda Hughes (Mike), and Kenny Todd (Nancy); daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Todd; grandchildren: Trent Hughes (Jessica), Todd Hughes (Cara), Brandon Todd (Ashley), Alex Ladner, Brandi Todd, Sara Hall (Corey), and Tyler Todd (Katherine) and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Trent Hughes, Todd Hughes, Tyler Todd, Corey Hall, Randy Wall, and Roger Wall.

Honorary pallbearer will be Brandon Todd.
