Donald Baker's Obituary
On November 11th, Donald Faye Baker left his earthly body with his wife and son beside him.
When he first came to Newton he continued his trade in drywall. Then he and his wife bought and ran the Rainbow café and opened D&D seafood with his lifelong friend Daryel Hartin. In 1991 he went to work for the MDOT project office as a surveyor until he retired.
Mr. Baker enjoyed a good debate and fishing anywhere was his passion. A chef of many talents he could always be found serving good food to friends.
A private man, there will be no local services.
We Thought We'd Have Longer, Now He Has Forever.
