Dianne Blackwell Nelson, 63, of Lawrence, MS died Monday, December 19, 2016 at her residence in Lawrence, MS. She was born Thursday, December 10, 1953 in Meridian, MS.
Mrs. Nelson worked at La-Z-Boy for 17 years, retired from Bedford Care Center after 11 years of service. She was a member of Lawrence Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her love for her family and will be missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her Parents- J.B. and Mary Alice Blackwell.
Survivors include Husband - Dewey Nelson, Son - Scottie Bryson (Jennifer), Brothers - John Blackwell, Sonny Blackwell; Step-Sons - Craig Nelson (Tina), Cody Nelson, Casey Nelson, Clay Nelson (Tammy); 10 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
