Darlene Virginia Entrekin, 71, of Union, Mississippi, passed away, Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Laird Hospital in Union, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, December 20, 1949 in Elkton, Maryland.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-North. Funeral Services will follow at 5:00 PM in the chapel. Bro. She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Goldie Evans; daughter, Jeannie Jordan; brother, Tommie Evans and sister, Elaine Trimble.

Survivors include her husband, John Entrekin, Sr.; children, Billy Dempsey and Nikki Sample; step-children, John Entrekin, Jr., Chris Entrekin, and Tori Strickland; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, David Evans; sister, Nancy Chadwick.
