Daniel Dewayne Gainey, 24, of Union, Mississippi, died Friday, August 28, 2020, at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, February 25, 1996 in Meridian, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 31, 2020, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at White Plains Holiness Assembly. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM at White Plains Holiness Assembly. Daniel's heart was his son, Kane. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

Survivors include his parents, Daniel Gainey, Felicia Williams, Ruth Gainey, and Lisa Gainey; son, Alexander Kane Gainey; brother and sister, David Gainey and Brianne Gainey; niece, Jenna Gainey; grandparents, Jimmy and Dolly Gainey, Kent and Janice Carey, and Brenda Johnson; special aunt, Catina "Nene" Holdiness (James).

Pallbearers will be David Gainey, Jimmy Gainey, Danny Gainey, Kent Carey, Malachi Estes, Johnny Neese, Braiden Estes, and Jackie McFee.
