Curtis Delton "Del" Lang, 70 of Newton, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Lang was born Saturday, March 13, 1954 in Meridian. He was a retired truck driver, in local and long haul transportation. He loved children, and enjoyed taking them on scooter rides on his motorized wheelchair. He was an avid NASCAR and Atlanta Braves fan. Many good things could be said about Mr. Lang; he enjoyed working in the yard and visiting with his neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Lang and his mother, Geneva Grice Graff.

Survivors include his wife of seventeen years, Lois McKean Lang of Newton; two  sons, James Lang (Susan) of Union and Joey Lang (Melissa) of Gardner, KS; four grandchildren, Alexis Lang, Logan Lang, Conner Lang and Christina Lang; one brother also survives as well as several uncles, aunts  and cousins.
