Services for Clyde Lang NeSmith will be held Friday, January 3, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home-North. Rev. Earnest Allen will be officiating. Burial will be held in Meehan cemetery. Newton County Funeral Home-North is in charge of the services, 601-635-3200.

Mr. NeSmith, 76 of Chunky, MS passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at home.

Survivors include his daughter, Laura "Sissy" Dubose (Ronnie); two sons, Billy Smith and Stevie Smith (Debbie); three sisters, Jackie Thompson, Peggy Comans, and Bess Myers; two grand-daughters, Laurisha Bozeman and Becki Smith; two great grandsons, Justice Smith (Nikki) and Jordan Smith; three great grand-daughters, Kayla Bozeman, Logan Boland (Jamey), and Leyanne Bozeman; six great great-grandchildren, Baylee, Elainna, Brandon, Raylin, Maverick, and Rayleigh. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine NeSmith; his parents, George Winston and Virginia Florence NeSmith; his granddaughter, Courtney Lynn Smith and his sister-in-law, Grace Hamm.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020, from 6 PM until 8 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-North on Hwy 15.

Pallbearers will be Justice Smith, Cody Buckley, Anthony Sylvester, Cory Keith, Jamey Boland, and Bobby Galloway.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jordan Smith.
