Clarence Lee “Leebo” Hancock age 66 of Hickory MS, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, at University of Mississippi Medical Center In Jackson, MS after a brief illness. Leebo was born September 8, 1959, in Georgia to Jerrell Dean and Jo Ann Oakes Hancock.

Leebo was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He worked as a painter most of his working years. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerrell Ross “Bubba” Hancock; son in law, Keith Duhon.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kristie Hurst. Children; Brittney H. Lopez (Joshua), Shalacy Griffin (Heath), Courtney Duhon; daughter in law, Kayler R. Hancock, and mother of his children, Sue Clark. Grandchildren; Cade Touchet, Emile Duhon, Lane Hancock, Lexi Hancock, Journey Lopez, Jax Lopez, Jett Lopez, and Ryker Griffin.

Also surviving Lee are his siblings, JD Hancock (Tracey), Susan Hancock Blackwell, Samantha Thomas, and David Kyle Hancock.
