"Eddie" Eshee, Jr.
November 27, 1964 – May 1, 2025
The Celebration of Life for Charles Edwin "Eddie" Eshee Jr., will begin at 6:30 pm on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Newton County Funeral Home - North with Bro. Harold Laird officiating. The eulogy will be given by Mr. Heath Snider. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at the funeral home on Monday.
Eddie was born Friday, November 27, 1964 in Union, to his parents Charles Edwin Eshee, Sr, and Pearlene Burton Eshee. He was a graduate of West Lauderdale High School. He attended Meridian Community College and Mississippi State University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in business and art. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his dad and friends, and was proud of the fact that he visited all 48 continental states in his travels. He was employed at the Naval Air Station in Meridian as a plane captain/aircraft servicer for V2X where he made many cherished friends. Eddie touched many lives with his friendship and kindness, and never met a stranger. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Eddie passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the age of 60. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edwin "Chuck" Eshee, Sr.; his mother, Pearlene Burton Eshee; paternal grandparents, James "Jim" and Lavada Laird Eshee and maternal grandparents, William Gail and Zora Odessa Winstead Thomas.
Survivors include his sister, Madeline Rawe (Mark) of Cape Coral, FL; one niece, Jessica Blackledge (Brandon) of Clarkdale; two great nephews and a host of cousins and many friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Heath Snider, Billy Leeper, Michael Sheffield, Don Chisolm, Jason Griffin, Mark Rawe, and Brandon Blackledge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 297, Newton, MS 39345.
The family wishes to acknowledge with sincere appreciation, the staff of Harper's Hospice in Meridian, especially to Kayla and Tina.
