Charles William (Billy) Brierley,67, of Newton, died Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at home. Billy loved his dogs; he loved to fish and was quite a handyman. He was great at working with his hands doing woodwork, mechanics and other things around his home. He had a kind and gentle nature and he loved his family. Billy worked for
La-z-boy (Plant 21) in Newton for eleven years.
Billy attended Calvary Baptist Church in Newton and was a man of faith. His Mother, Emma Walsh, preceded him in death as well as his Brothers Robert Brierley, Ronnie Brierley, Johnny Walsh and his sister Brenda Walsh.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years Gladys Brierley, Five Daughters, Arielle Rose, Chelsea Kramer, Jodi Cavallaro, Kimberley Pereda and Melissa Garcia, one son, James Sequin, one brother Greg ( Teresa) Brierley, one sister Linda ( Allen) Tehari, his Father Charles( Sandy) Brierley, his in-laws Albert and Mary Goyette , two sister-in-laws , Corrine Goyette –McGinn, Cheryl (Tim) McWilliams, three brother-in-laws, Joe ( Christine) Goyette, Paul (Vicki) Goyette and Chris ( Michelle) Goyette, eight grandchildren and two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church with Brother Ron Gilstrap officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. It was a heartfelt celebration of Life. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
