C. A. Stamper, 84 of Newton, MS, died Thursday,October 25, 2012 at his residence in Newton, MS .
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. , Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Newton County Funeral Home North in Newton,MS with Bro. Ron Gilstrap officiating. Burial will be in Beat Line Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. at Newton County Funeral Home North on Friday, October 26, 2012. Newton County Funeral Home of Newton, MS is in charge of arrangements. 601-635-3200
He was a lifelong resident of Newton County. He was retired from La-Z-Boy South and a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was an active member of First Baptist Church in Newton. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing.
