Burnett Harold Young, 83, of Newton, MS died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his home in Newton, MS. He was born Tuesday, January 9, 1934 in Crystal Springs, MS.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-North in Newton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home-North. Burial will follow in Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church Cemetery in Crystal Springs, MS. Dr. Brian Rushing will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home - North is in charge of arrangements. (601)635-3200
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis E. Young and Nettie Young; children, Lance Young and Gloria Young.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years JoAn G. Young, Newton, MS; daughter, Angelia Y. Boler, Lake, MS; grandchild, Andrea Carter, Hazleton, PA; grandchild, Ashly Parker, Lake, MS; grandchild, Christopher Boler, Union, MS; great grandchild, Genesis Divine and 8 more great grandchildren; one brother, Arnold L. Young, Crystal Springs, MS.
