Bro. Paul Demoney, 68 of Newton, MS, died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. Memorial services will be held 5 PM Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Nance Hill Cemetery in Lawrence, MS with Bro. Jack DeMoney officiating. Bro. DeMoney was married for 35 years to his love, the late Mrs. Betty Demoney. He retired as Fire Chief of Greenville, MS where he served for 20 Years. He was Pastor at Lawrence Baptist Church for 28 years, loved spending time with his grandbabies & going to Nance Hill, was a Member of Lake Masonic Lodge, & Lawrence Lions Club.

Survivors Include: Daughter: Donna Sanderson & husband Robert, Newton, MS; 5 Grandchildren: Paul Ainsworth (Dunior Ty Cobb), Newton, MS, Brittney Diamond (Beauty), Newton, MS, Luke Sanderson, Newton, MS, Bruce Sanderson, Newton, MS, & Haley Ainsworth, Newton, MS; 2 Brothers: Jack DeMoney, Madison, MS & Bobby DeMoney, Madison, MS; 3 Sisters: Annie Laura Hughes, Madison, MS, Juanita Hodges, Madison, MS, & Mary Jane Ferriti, Jackson, MS; & numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by: Wife: Betty Demoney; Parents: Claude DeMoney & Edna Brewer DeMoney; Sister: Betty Ellis; & 2 Brothers: Jimmy DeMoney & Ernest Demoney.
