Brandi Lynn Vega's Obituary
Brandi Lynn Vega (Chapman), born June 22, 1981 in Meridian, Mississippi (resided in Newton, Mississippi), departed to Heaven's Paradise on February 1, 2022, at the age of 40.
Brandi was preceded in death by her grandparents: Thomas and Frances Chapman; Laverne NeSmith; and Huey Easom.
Brandi is survived by her husband of almost 20 years, Isaac; her son, Justus; her fur babies, Treble and Murphy; her parents, Larry and Pam Chapman; her sister, Donna Chapman (Hugh Sharp); her niece, Zathienna Sharp; a life-long best friend, Tonya Orr; brother-in-law, Aaron (Tina) Vega; brother-in-law, Nate (Mary) Vega; as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Brandi achieved a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from American Institute University. She had a successful career at Raytheon Intelligence and Space for 22 years. Brandi enjoyed her job as a configuration analyst as well as the many friendships developed throughout the years.
Her greatest enjoyment in life was time spent with family and friends, vacationing, traveling, and experiencing new adventures. Her taste for things in life and experiences were like no other. She had a special ability for planning and orchestrating behind the scene success for others. She was an advocate and strong supporter for loved ones in believing in themselves, their goals, and living life to the fullest. Brandi was selfless and a gentle soul at heart.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022, from 5 PM until 8 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-South. Memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Newton County Funeral Home followed by burial at Masonic Cemetery, 608 Decatur St., Newton, Mississippi.
