Obituary

Mr. Bobby Johnson was born on December 11, 1934 to Bob and Delma Lou Johnson. He was born in Georgia and later moved to Mississippi.

He met the love of his life, Mary Frances Tolbert at the age of 20 and were married in 1958.  Together they shared 65 years of marriage, welcoming 5 children into this world. He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother and pawpaw.

If you knew Bobby, you knew his love for fast cars and big trucks. Most weekends he spent washing his big truck and then went to the dirt track races. Through the years, he loved tinkering on old vehicles.

Mr. Bobby passed from this life to his eternal home on November 1, 2025, at his home in Lake, Mississippi.

As we continue our journey on earth without him physically, may we know that he is walking beside us in Heaven. May all remember his love, his kindness and his strength. We are not saying goodbye, but until we meet again, we will always love and carry you in our hearts.

Bobby is survived by his daughter, Cindy Johnson of Conehatta; his son, Danny Johnson of Lake; his daughter, Ava "Cookie" Ware and her fiancée Jerry of Raleigh; his daughter, Amy (Chris) of Enterprise; and his niece Missy Brown that Bobby took in as his own after the passing of her parents. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Dannielle (Willie) of Union, Dustin (Hailey) of Conehatta, Matt (Jessie) of Brandon, Mark (Tara) of Eupora, Jason of Orland Fl, Joe (Cynthia) of Union, Haley of Brandon, and Emma and Gage of Enterprise; and great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Haisley, and Jaxxon, Sarah, Taylor and Mila, Lathan and Emilee, and Haysten and Peyton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Delma Lou; his brother Paul; two sisters, Ann and Marie; his loving wife, Mary Frances; one son, Tommy J. Johnson, and one-great grandchild, Kaylee.
