Described as an angel on earth, he was a shining example of what it means to live a life of courage, conviction, and compassion. His love was fierce and unrelenting, and he always spoke his mind with unflinching honesty, even if it meant challenging those around him to be their best selves. Remembered as one, who had a heart of gold, always putting the needs of others before his own, and his generosity inspired countless lives. Mr. Easom was a devoted family man, who always wanted the very best for his loved ones, and he spent his life serving as a powerful example of what it means to live a life of honor and integrity. He was the very epitome of what being a real man was meant to be. Mr. Easom was a faithful servant of God, a proud veteran of our great nation (USAF) and worked for MDOT for over 40 years, in Newton. He was an avid golfer at Newton Country Club and a member of First Baptist Church of Newton. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father and grandfather. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.

(Crystal) Easom of Newton; four great-grandchildren, Samantha Easom, Cameron Emmons, Allie Emmons, and Parker Emmons; one great-great grandchild, Kesha Emmons, and several nieces and nephews, with special mentions of his in-home caregivers, Lela Lyles and Kimberly Lindsey.
