Bill Williams, Sr., 74 of Hickory, MS, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at his home in Hickory, MS.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton, MS with Bro. Wayne Campbell and Bro. William Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
He loved his family and he enjoyed farming. Above all he loved his Lord and was a member of Gideons International.
Preceded in death by: Parents: Leo Johnson Williams and Laura Icie Thorne Williams
Survivors Include: Wife: Evelyn C. Williams, Hickory, MS, Son: Bill Johnson Williams, Jr. (Jennifer), Hickory, MS, Daughter: JoAnn Williams Porter (Jamie), Brandon, MS, Grandchildren: Courtney Williams, Cody Williams, and Joshua Porter.
Pallbearers: Michael Williams, James Williams, James Thorne, Dan Williams, Randy Williams, Gary Thorne.
Honorary Pallbearer: Ray Williams
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South on Thursday, January 29, 2015.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gideons International Organization.
