Bill Johnson "Johnny" Williams, Jr., 51, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his home in Hickory, MS.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newton County Funeral Home – South, 100 Old Highway 15 Loop, Newton, MS.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Newton County Funeral Home - South. The burial will follow in Good Hope Baptist Cemetery in Hickory, Mississippi. Bro. Wayne Campbell and Bro. William Spencer will officiate. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Jan Johnson. Newton County Funeral Home - South is in charge of arrangements. 601-635-3200
He loved the Lord, he loved his family, and he loved just about anything with an engine in it. He and his wife Jennifer were married for 32 years and he resided in Hickory his entire life. Johnny's first passion was truck driving, his profession for nearly 15 years. For the last ten years of his life, he returned to his family's farming roots. In 2019, Williams Farm was awarded by Tyson as Top Flock Producer for the United States.
Johnny is preceded in death by his father, Bill Johnson Williams, Sr.
He is survived by wife Jennifer Vaughn Williams, daughter Courtney Williams, son Cody Williams, mother Evelyn C. Williams, sister JoAnn Williams Porter (Jamie), and multiple nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be John Todd, Wade Vaughn, Wayne Vaughn, Bryant Williams, James Williams, and Michael Williams.
