Funeral services for Betty Jeanne Rich will be held at 2 P.M. , on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Hopewell United Methodist Church at Rose Hill with Pastor Kathy Price, Bro. Wayne Taylor, and Bro. Tony Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 P.M. until service time at Hopewell United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 2, 2013.

Mrs. Rich, 74 of Rose Hill, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center, North Campus. She was a dedicated and active member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and tending to her flowers. She loved her dogs. She loved people in general and especially her church family. She will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Clarence Graham Marrs and Grace Belle McCormick Marrs

Survivors Include her husband: Perry S. Rich of Rose Hill; two sons: Chris Weidman and his wife Rebecca of Douglasville, GA and Kevin Weidman of Rose Hill; one granddaughter: Rebecca "Becky" Weidman of Douglasville, GA; one sister: Geri Meehan of Syosset, NY; four step children:
Lamar Rich of Enterprise; Roger Rich of Enterprise; Teresa Elrod of Fayetteville, TN, and
Wendy Mizelle of Theodore, AL; 11 Step Grandchildren


Pallbearers: David Chamblee, Mark Strait, Jackie Bolton, Randy Loper, Jerry Lewis, and
Dennis Chatham.
