Betty Dianne Hollingsworth, 72, of Decatur, Mississippi, passed away on Friday. October 29, 2021 at Anderson's Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, November 23, 1948 in Neshoba County.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-North in Newton, MS with funeral services immediately following in the chapel.  Bro. Mitchell Graham will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200

Mrs. Dianne was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family dairy farm.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was a faithful member of Pine Grove Church of God.  Her hobbies included quilting and sewing.  She will truly be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Hollingsworth; her parents, Grady and Ruth Pullin, and her siblings.

Survivors include her sons, Barry (Kelly) Hollingsworth and Bradley (Amy) Hollingsworth; grandchildren: Brandon (Courtney) Hollingsworth, Logan Hollingsworth, Allyson (Mckay) Morrow, Ashley Hollingsworth, and Audrey Hollingsworth; great-grandchildren,  Jackson and Jacob Hollingsworth; and her sisters,  Debbie (Roy) Lucroy, Nancy (Ray) Rowzee, and Peggy (Kenneth) Hollingsworth.
