Baby Lucas Hayden Pace opened his eyes and the first face he saw was Jesus. We take great comfort in that fact.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm at Cedar Grove Baptist Church at 2548 Cedar Grove Road, Newton with services immediately following.

Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bro. Ryan Cozart will lead the service of comfort and celebration.

He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, Melvin Tingle and two paternal great-grandfathers, Lavell Bounds and Gene Turner.

Survivors include his loving parents,  Hayden and Mariah Usry Pace of Newton;  maternal grandparents, Steve and Emily Tingle Usry of Decatur;  paternal grandparents, Chris and Donna Bounds Pace of Newton; paternal grandfather, Abner Usry (Delores) of Lake; maternal great grandmother, Betty Tingle of Decatur; paternal great-grandmother, Dot Turner of Newton; paternal great-grandparents,  Charles and Lynn Pace of Newton and Hester and Kay Smith of Florence, AL; maternal aunt, Riley and Hunter Burkes of Morton and paternal aunt, Ashley Thornton of Caledonia; several cousins, great-aunts, and great-uncles also survive.

Pallbearers will be Baby Lucas' grandfathers, Steve Usry and Chris Pace.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 2548 Cedar Grove Rd., Newton, MS 39345.
