Audie Strebeck Thrash

Meridian, MS - Services for Audie S. Thrash will be held Monday, November 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton, MS. Burial will follow in Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Hickory, MS. Bro. Jackie Strebeck and Bro. Glenn Hayman will officiate.

Mrs. Thrash, 87, died Friday, November 20, 2015 at Poplar Springs Nursing Center. She was born Thursday, September 27, 1928 in Hickory, MS.

She was a lifelong resident of Newton County and worked 50 years at Hailey's Hardware store in Newton. She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother. Ms. Thrash will be missed by all who knew her.

She is predeceased by her: Parents- Hugh Nauphalette Strebeck and Sarah "Sallie" McKee Strebeck and Son - Vernon Gary Thrash.

She is survived by her: Granddaughter - Sheryl Thrash West (David), Great Grand Child - John Garyth West, Great Grand Child - Ethan Lane West, all from Hickory, MS, with a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: David West, Ethan West, Larry Strebeck, Tim Rose, Scotty Gibson and Jerry Strebeck.

Visitation will be held from 12:00PM to 2:00PM on Monday, November 23, 2015 prior to service.
