Annie Lee Gibbs, 91, of Newton, MS died Monday, February 27, 2017 at Bedford Care Center in Newton, MS. She was born Tuesday, August 4, 1925 in Newton County, MS. She was a faithful member of Ebenezer Baptist Church for 76 years.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home - South. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Newton, MS. Bro. Larry Laird and Bro. Tommy Tanner will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home - South is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200
She is preceded in death by her Parents-Zack Gibbs and Lillian Gary Gibbs; Brothers - Harvey Gibbs and Hulon Gibbs; Sister - Eula Mae Gibbs; Brother-in-law - Orman May and Sister-in-law - Estelle Matthews Gibbs.
Survivors include her Brother - Billie Ray Gibbs and his wife Helen, Sisters - Nellie Nelson and her husband Edward and Charlotte May; Sister-in-law - Delia Gibbs,
Pallbearers will be Randell Nelson, Warren Robinson, David Gibbs, Henry Sibley, Chris Vaughn, Gale Nelson.
