Newton, MS - Services for Annie Sue Edwards will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 10:30 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Newton, MS. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Newton County Funeral Home - South in charge of arrangements. Dr. James L. Spencer will officiate.
Mrs. Edwards, 86, died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Pioneer Hospital in Newton, MS.
Mrs. Edwards was a lifelong resident of Newton County. She was a telephone operator, nurse's aide, a loving wife, mother and housekeeper.
She is preceded in death by: Husband - William Lee Edwards, Brother - John Allen Ellis and Sister - Mary Ruth Laird,
She is survived by: Sons - Paul Edwards, Newton, MS and David Edwards, Meridian, MS and two grandchildren Jennifer Edwards and John Edwards,
Visitation will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton.
