Annie Lois Carey, 101, of Decatur, Mississippi, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020, at her home in Decatur, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, August 8, 1918 in Newton County.

Private Family Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Larry Brown will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 683-2152

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Carey, Jr.; her parents, Ransom and Minnie Munn; two brothers, Willie Munn and Clinton Munn.

Survivors include her children, Wayne Carey, George Lynn Carey (Patsy), Janice Brown (Larry), Sue Walker (Kenneth), Kent Carey (Janice), and David Carey; one sister, Thelma Boutwell and 68 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Bobby Carey, George Carey, Jonathan Brown, Joel Brown, Kendall Carey, and Bubba Walker.
