Services celebrating the life of Anita Gibbs will begin at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from the Sand Ridge Baptist Church at Lake.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm on Tuesday at the church and continue until service time.

Anita Carol McBride Gibbs was born Thursday, May 7, 1964 in Newton to her parents, Bill and Jenell Burton McBride, who precede her in death. She passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at her home at Forest. She was a Christian by faith and held membership with Sand Ridge Baptist Church at Lake. By profession, she was a sales manager for local businesses, namely Roses and Big Lots. She will be remembered as a courageous person who loved her family very much, and enjoyed reading and the beauty of  flowers as a pass time. Anita will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Gibbs of Forest; her son, Timothy Litchfield, of Pascagoula; her grandchildren: Gage, Maia, Eason, Euriah and Madlyn; her sister: Rhonda, and her husband, Barry Pace of Conehatta and two nieces, Megan and Sunny; her half sister, Lou Ann also survives; her canine companion, Zoey and feline companion, Gizmo are left behind.

All floral offerings need to be delivered to Sand Ridge Baptist Church, located at 22321 Hwy. 80, Lake, MS 39092.
