Andre "Andy" Barry, 74 of Newton, MS passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, at his home in Newton, MS. He was born Saturday, December 21, 1946, in Biddeford, Maine.

Visitation will be Monday, December 20, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-North. Memorial Services will follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel. Interment will be at 2:30 PM in the Mississippi Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-635-3200

Andy was served in the United States Navy for 20 plus years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Meridian, the VFW in Meridian, and the Phi Delta Keppa in Meridian.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Teresa Barry; brothers, John Barry and Jim Barry; grandson, Christopher Barry.

Survivors include his daughters, Lynn Manter of Rose Hill, MS, Ann Billheimer (Darin) of Meridian, MS, and Tina Wright (Travis) of Bailey, MS; grandchildren, Anthony Hall, Dustin Hall, Zachery Lakatos, Ashley Chatham (Bennett), McKenzi Bunytn (Michael), Meagan Wright and Melissa Wright;  great-grandchildren, Jace Hall, Rowan Chatham, Ansley Chatham, and Cooper Gerritt Buntyn; brother, Raymond Barry (Nancy);  sister, Carol Barry.
