He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Amos Everett and Etta Jane Everett; brother, Barney Everett and sister, Margie Everett,
Survivors include his spouse, Doris Faye Everett, Joplin, MO; son , James Maxwell Everett (Leah); daughter, Debra Jean Harwell (Robert); sister, Joyce Williams; grand children, Jacob Everett, Laryssa Everett, Grant Harwell and Mason Harwell.
