Alma Lorene Miles, 103, of Lawrence, Mississippi, died Monday, April 20, 2020 at her home. She was born Wednesday, November 8, 1916 in Newton County.

Private Family Graveside Services will be held Friday, April 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Lawrence Cemetery. will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Miles, Sr.; her children, Lester Miles, Curtis Miles, Mable Warren, Owen Miles, and Allen Miles; her parents, Grover and Edna Allgood and eight siblings.

Survivors include her children, Nell Lancaster and Floyd Miles, Jr.; nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
