Alice Faye Flowers, 75, of Newton, Mississippi, died Sunday, September 26, 2021, with her family by her side, at Anderson's Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, November 14, 1945, in Newton County.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Newton County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Allen King will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200

Faye worked at MDOT in Newton for 25 years. She was always happiest when she was with her family. She will be remembered for her smiles and her kindness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Louise Bishop; her brothers, David Bishop and Kelly Bishop.

Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Reed (Lester) and Leanne Bilbo (George); her grandchildren, Dereck Reed (Candace), Dusty Reed, Colby Bilbo, and Aubrey Forbes (Chip); great-grandchildren, Aidan Reed, Rylan Reed, and Callie Reed; her sister, Debbie Tune (Stuart) and her brother Ricky Bishop (Marilyn).

Pallbearers will be Dusty Reed, Dereck Reed, Colby Bilbo, Chip Forbes, Garrick Bishop, and Jeremy Tune.
